The Bag Brigade
october Item of the Month: Complete Meals
Looking Ahead: November's Item of the Month: Popcorn
Did you know that 3 out of 4 teachers say they have children in their classrooms who regularly come to school hungry?
The Bag Brigade started with the intent of helping to end childhood hunger in our community and with a conviction that every child should have the nourishment they need to learn and grow. The mission is simple – pack bags with food so the kids in need throughout the Belle Vernon Area School District don’t go hungry on the weekends.

Local and Global Outreach
As we recognize that we cannot fulfill God's Mission all by ourselves, we are supporters of other ministries in order to bring Jesus to those outside our own realm.
Local Outreach:
Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) invites and equips the church to reach college students, encouraging them to serve Jesus Christ with their entire lives.
STAND, Students Taking A New Direction, is a Campus Ministry at California University. It focuses on fun, fellowship, discipleship, and helping others develop deeper relationships between each other and most importantly Jesus Christ.
International Outreach:
Internationally, we have partnered for years with the Envision site in El Salvador doing church plants, community support, construction, and ministry for the poor. Currently, we have begun a new partnership with international workers in Kosovo, supporting the C&MA team, praying for them, and providing pastoral care.
As part of the worldwide family of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, we are invested in mission work.
